[the international school of trigger and data acquisition 2010]

This is a 7 days school on Trigger and Data Acquisition systems. The school will be held in English with a maximum of 40 students and it will contain 50% lectures and 50% laboratory exercises. There will be final project to be delivered by email 2 weeks after the school's completion. The target audience is the MS and PHD students who intend to continue their career in the field in accelerator and particle physics, specializing in trigger and data acquisition. The basics of NIM, VMEbus, PC based readout systems and trigger detectors will be covered together with reviews of modern TDAQ systems such as CMS and ATLAS experiments.
